Ahi Acre (Hebrew: אחי עכו) is an Israeli football club based in the Old City of Acre. The club is currently in Liga Bet North A division and play at the Acre Municipal Stadium.

History

The club was founded in 2003 and joined Liga Gimel Western Galilee (now defunct) in the 2003–04 season, after the previous club from the Old City of Acre, Hapoel Bnei Acre, dissolved after it was last active in the previous season.

In the 2006–07 season, the club won Liga Gimel Upper Galilee division, and were promoted to Liga Bet. In the 2009–10 season, the club won Liga Bet North A division and were promoted to Liga Alef. In their first season in Liga Alef North division, Ahi Acre narrowly avoided the Relegation play-offs, after they finished eleventh. However, in the following season, they finished bottom, after winning only three games and relegated back to Liga Bet, where they play today.

O Ahi Akko é um clube de futebol israelense fundado em 1949 na cidade de Akko. Atualmente disputa a Liga Leumit, segunda divisão do Campeonato Israelense de Futebol.

O clube foi fundado por moradores árabes da cidade de Akko, que queriam ter um time de futebol para representar a cidade. O nome Ahi Akko significa "irmãos de Akko" em árabe.

O Ahi Akko começou a disputar a Liga Alef, terceira divisão do Campeonato Israelense, em 1950. Em 1954, o clube foi promovido para a Liga Leumit, segunda divisão.

O Ahi Akko disputou a Liga Leumit por seis temporadas, até ser rebaixado para a Liga Alef em 1960. O clube retornou à Liga Leumit em 1965, mas foi rebaixado novamente em 1969.

O Ahi Akko permaneceu na Liga Alef até 1976, quando foi promovido para a Liga Leumit. O clube disputou a Liga Leumit por quatro temporadas, até ser rebaixado novamente em 1980.

O Ahi Akko retornou à Liga Leumit em 1983, mas foi rebaixado novamente em 1986. O clube permaneceu na Liga Alef até 1992, quando foi promovido para a Liga Leumit.

O Ahi Akko disputou a Liga Leumit por três temporadas, até ser rebaixado novamente em 1995. O clube retornou à Liga Leumit em 1998, mas foi rebaixado novamente em 2000.

O Ahi Akko permaneceu na Liga Alef até 2005, quando foi promovido para a Liga Leumit. O clube disputou a Liga Leumit por duas temporadas, até ser rebaixado novamente em 2007.

O Ahi Akko retornou à Liga Leumit em 2009, mas foi rebaixado novamente em 2011. O clube permaneceu na Liga Alef até 2016, quando foi promovido para a Liga Leumit.

O Ahi Akko disputa atualmente a Liga Leumit, segunda divisão do Campeonato Israelense de Futebol. O clube está sediado na cidade de Akko, no norte de Israel.
